How I Use AI at Set Point Science™

June 2, 2026

Here is a recent comment that I received on YouTube:

"I really hope you will reconsider relying on A I for research, as it’s frequently inaccurate sometimes to the point of creating fictional studies, etc. I’ll keep following journey since I’m interested in how you are doing but I’ll be cautious moving forward if the substance of the content is A I based — I have been burned too many times by errors (not to mention all of the other issues connected to it) to feel comfortable putting my trust in it."

Below is how I responded:

"Yes of course. I understand the AI concerns. I have them myself when reading content online nowadays. I can tell instantly if someone used AI to write something.

Here's a couple of things that factor in for me:

#1 time. I have limited time to work, so I have to be as efficient as possible (much less time than I had when I had zero or only 1 kid). What I do lately is speak into a voice recorder for 20 minutes, then take that transcript and have AI smooth it out, because it comes out of my brain unusable lol, and I then I run it back through AI with the prompt that it must remove ums and unecessary words, move things around so it's more coherent, and it can't change my diction or syntax more than 10-15%. That seems to be working well to make things faster for me, and it's still almost totally my voice.

The #2 consideration is that my old videos were too verbose and too all over the place (I used to get negative comments about that all the time) and its even worse with menopause brain fog now. So I use AI now to save my viewers time as well, and get to my points more clearly. Rest assured all of the ideas are my own. And I don't find the need for any heavy research beyond basic psych and neuro concepts, as my understandings and methods come from the decade of coaching, not from AI.

And yes I'm aware of the hallucinations, even though I can see that the technology is better than it was when that was rampant last year and before that.

Why I Use AI

I am a real person behind this brand. A 43-ish year old woman, to be exact.

I am a mom of three young chicas (sometimes 4), my husband works out of town during the week, and I am rebuilding a business after cancer and a complete life reset.

I have always struggled with writing (see: my C- in freshman prose comp). I am naturally very verbose, which you may already know, and getting my thoughts out in a clear and organized way has always been a challenge for me.

Menopause has made this even more entertaining. I used to always just do selfie videos on YouTube because it was the only way I could get my thoughts out without freezing.

In my previous business, I paid a LOTTTT of money to copywriters and contractors because writing is not my strong suit. I needed help with editing, organizing, structuring, and clarifying. Without support, I would get stuck and lose time and momentum.

Scripting ahead of time? Impossible.

Until now.

AI has changed all of that. It helps me shape my ideas, clean up drafts, and move faster, so that I can spend more time on what really matters, which is coaching, creating the Set Point Science™ method, and serving you.

I have been coaching for almost 10 years and I am on my own weight loss journey. All of my ideas and methods are my own.

What's really interesting to me is that I am now able to motivate myself to write more nowadays because I know I can use AI to get through my overwhelm. If anything, this is life-changing after 14 years of content creation.

Being able to get the ideas that I've been kicking around for years out onto paper and video is my literal dream come true.
